Aloma Meador has lived in the Roanoke Valley for a good part of her live. She & her husband of 35 years have spent the past 23 years in Shawsville of Montgomery County, Virginia, where Aloma has been a full-time REALTOR for seven years. In addition to selling real estate, Aloma has been a member of the American Business Women's Association (ABWA) for 20 years through their Salem Charter Chapter. She aided the ABWA in raising funds for education for high school seniors.
Aloma's husband says that her main hobby is cleaning out closets, but she also enjoys cooking, dancing, and traveling. Her goal for 2010 is to learn to play the piano!
Aloma feels that the best part of being a REALTOR is meeting people and helping them find that special place that they can call home. She says, "People are so interesting, and everyone you work with can teach you something."
